Emergency Closing Information
School closings due to weather and other emergencies are posted here; closings are also posted on the Emergency Closing Center page. Emergency information is also broadcast on most local TV and radio stations. District 71 will also activate the Alert Now phone message service to send phone and email alerts when a decision to cancel school is made due to inclement weather.
